CNC Programmer | PINNACLE | Events, Exhibits

We are recruiting for a CNC Programmer to support our Irvine facility. They will work with the operations crew on expanding our current capabilities and pushing boundaries in terms of what the equipment can do. This position will be primarily independent, requiring a self-motivated individual. They will work closely with our shop, warehouse and project teams to figure out how to build some complex stuff.

Some nuts and bolts about the job responsibilities:

-Prepare detailed drawings for design layouts, working from blueprints, renderings, verbal instructions and sketches

-Program and create parts, assemblies and drawings of various project components using AutoCAD, VCarve, and Fusion360 a plus

-Deconstruct a 3D model into cutable parts

-Work with project teams to help specify material, hardware, electrical/lighting specifications and building techniques in accordance with project requirements

-Review drawings for production prior to manufacturing

-Create complete material list for purchasing

-Assist with ongoing maintenance of the CNC machine

-Participate in design/product meetings and client/company discussions

-Organize and prioritize the workload, communicate timelines with the project teams

We are an energetic and creative bunch and have high expectations for all of our employees. In addition to being fun to work with, we would like to hire someone with the following experience, skills, and attributes:

-Working experience with AutoCAD, Fusion 360 or similar program

-3 years of CNC programming in the exhibit event or permanent install industries (VCarve/Fusion360 preferred)

-Self-motivated, organized and calm in stressful situations, prioritize, pivot, plan in a fast paced environment with a ton of change. It's a ton of fun and we make cool stuff, but it isn't easy!

-2 years working specifically with wood mill-working

-Solid understanding of different building materialsmetal, plastics, foam

-Able to work with minimal supervision

-Strong communicating and problem solving skills

-Demonstrated knowledge of drafting, engineering, building techniques and mechanical aptitude

-Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel and Outlook

-Ability to time manage in order to handle multiple projects with short turn around times

-Strong math and problem solving skills

-Attention to detail in all aspects of the position

-Flexibility in schedulingthe ability to work long hours as needed during our busy season. 40+ hours/week
